I'm cycling my first
SW tank ever. A custom built, 20gal tall (20"Lx10"Wx24"H) which holds approximately 16 gals of water (has a Deep Sand Bed of almost 6"). It has a 6gal
sump which likely holds 2.5 or 3gals of water when running.
Considering the limited number and type of fish and corals I intend to keep, will a 5.5gal hospital/quarantine suffice?
I keep two 5.5gals running 24/7 for my
FW fish. I intend to keep one for SW that I would likely place on top of the main tank. Is it too small or is it OK?
