5.5gal OK for Quarantine?

I'm cycling my first SW tank ever. A custom built, 20gal tall (20"Lx10"Wx24"H) which holds approximately 16 gals of water (has a Deep Sand Bed of almost 6"). It has a 6gal sump which likely holds 2.5 or 3gals of water when running.

Considering the limited number and type of fish and corals I intend to keep, will a 5.5gal hospital/quarantine suffice?

I keep two 5.5gals running 24/7 for my FW fish. I intend to keep one for SW that I would likely place on top of the main tank. Is it too small or is it OK?

Pepe you should be ok as long as the fish you intend to keep are small. also keep an eye on the water quality. its easy to faul up a small tank. good luck. hey your in DR? I am in PR. Que lo que chico... qual es la vina?
