I have a few questions on a future(+-2 years) SW tank, (1) If I am going to get a Fish only tank do I need live rock? (2) What is the difference between live rock and corals, anenomes.etc? (3) What does live sand consist of, can I just get some from the beach when Im on holiday in 1 week?

No you don't need LR in a fish only tank. But it does help with filteration, a lot! No sand from the beach. There may be many thingys in there that you don't want and can be harmful to your fish. Unless of course you bake it first. Live sand has the much need beneficial bacteria already in it. It's been precycled and is parasite free.
As far as the difference between LR and Corals, well I personally haven't gotten that far in my education of SW yet, but I know there's a big one
