green algea overnite

i have a salt tank i set up and has been running for a few weeks now.. It is a eclipes 12 galllon tank I have 10 pounds of live rock in it and 20 lbs of live sand.
anyway went to bed and tank was ok woke up and there is green fuzzy stuff growing on my live rock and was a few brown spots on the glass on the front of the tank.. I am sure this is because i let tha tank get to much light. my question is what do I do about the green fuzzy stuff on the live rock? just let it go ar what?

I Checked The Lvl.s Of Everything Yesterday Before I Found This Problem And It Was All Good
Should I Check The Water Again?

Just Checked Again
My nitrite No 2 Is 0 PPM
My ammonia Is 0 Ppm
My Nitrite N0 3 Is 0 Ppm
My High Range pH Is 7.8
I Think This Is Perfect If I Am Not Wrong.

you JUST set this tank up a few weeks ago? sounds like an algae bloom to me. it looks like your tank has cycled, you should get some algae eaters (snails) to get rid of the algae, it doesnt have to do with your lights, its a part of the cycling process although, i would check your phosphate and PH levels, because diatoms and green hair algae usually mean something is off in the water. maybe a water change is in order as well?
