Wow some coral lived through the great crash!

I was checking out my SW nano today and surprised to see my pink encrusted gorgonian was revived and open, the zos lived, and I found a baby yuma mushroom on the rock where I lost one.

Theres life back in the tank! Its amazing!

I am going to try to start restocking in the next couple weeks, while working on the 36g change over.

I am in shock. What gets me is the clam that hijacked on my live rock when I first bought the stuff for my tank lived through the cycle, and now lived through the great crash, it is a strong little guy!

I am just happy that I still have some of my original coral.

My water test the past week have been perfect, my pH is def better at 8.2.

You got a clam with your LR! Over here you would be paying $50-$300+ for a nice one.
I always get nice rock with bad hikers

Pete sadly the "inside's" of my clam died so i took the insides out and just left the empty shell in there. It looks cool though.

Can make good use out of Empty Clam shell. Certain fish will make good home out of it if you can fixed the shell in semi opened position. My blenny which my children collected over the summer has made him/herself a good home in large empty snail shell and tiny basslet hides in clams shell to avoid chasing by dottyback which also was collected over the summer.

I think my clam will be here after the end of the world alive. Its def still alive and well, I tap it on the side and it closes like normal, stays open filter feeding during the "light" hours.
