Is it normal for heaters in saltwater not to stick to a surface in your tank

Haven't had that problem with my 10 gallon or my 20 gallon that is currently cycling before I move my stock from the 10 into it. What brand heater are you using and are you using the brand heaters suction cups or an after market one?

im using an aqeuon one and the suction cups that camer with it just wondering if anyone had this before cuz it is bugging me to no end

Clean the suction cup well and leave it in hot water to soften then into cold water to stiffen. Make sure rubbers are not falling apart. Make sure glass is clean, free of algae.
