Is there any alarm when an eye of a fish becomes cloudy? I never had this happen before. I could use any advice at all

its a symptom of popeye, which also causes the fish's eye to bulge out unnaturally due to fluids draining into the eye. This is typically caused by poor water quality, and if quickly nipped in the butt, will be a breeze to treat.

Make a 20% water change every other day and add medicine as a supporting measure only if the disease persists. This should clear up within a couple of days to a week
