Lost our first fish

Well...
it happened...we are bummed
we lost our first fish..his name was "rewind" because Beth loved the way he's swim foward and then all of a sudden "back up" and rewind....it was cool...fun to watch

we started the tank with 3 yellow fin damsels and 6 hermit crab

Im not sure if it was stress or what...they werent really eating since we brought them home
we even made sure we got the same food they LFS was feeding them
( frozen brine shrimp ) also got some flake...they suggested an every other day rotation of the two
nothing is visually worng with the tank...or the fish for that matter

the saliity is o.23
the pH is 8.2
nitrites 0
amonia 0
nitrates 5
water temp 79

we have been keeping a daily log

hoping nothing happens to the other 2
fingers are crossed

its not good when you loose a fish just a idea leave lights of for a few days this will help the fish get over the stress and try to feed for a week or so with lights of till they feed properly
