My question is this, with so much to hook up that needs power for an aquarium, how can you not use a surge protector or an extension cord with only two places within the outlet to plug into?

I use power strips and multiple-plug extension cords, and I am still running out of outlets with only 2 aquariums.

i use 2 GFCI and an overload extension cord, but then i'm a woman and i'm sure you all know how we are. always expecting the worse.

I use multiple GCFI outlets for my tank. I seperate my lights and power heads and heaters on all seperte circuits. You can never be too carefull
