Is it ok to remove old sand and replace with new live sand to an established tank?

Well the old sand have lots of bacteria and it help the tank have good parameters. Why would you want to replace it??

Well because the old sand is pretty dirty and I was told that you don't vaccum like a fresh water tank. I do have some cleaners in the tank but it just seems a little dirty to me.

Try mixing the sand by hand, a small section at a time. You can vacume the sand a little to get some of the detris off of it.
