Decided. Going SW for sure,,But need advise

Tank will be a normal 55G with the normal stand.
My planed setup will be a DSB with about 1/3 being live sand the rest being aragamax. A Remora skimmer.
About 30lbs live rock to start. No coral or anemone for the first 6 months.
A couple maroon clowns after the first month m/f. cleanup crew added with the fish also a cleaner shrimp.
Now i may want corals and for sure an anemone after the 6 month mark. So lighting will be an issue. I do not want MH from past experience. To hot and expensive to run but maybe times have changed
T5 looks like it's the way i want to go. Here is what im looking at.

What bulbs should i order with it? or is there a better option?

Also for a Refugeum i THINK a 10g tank will fit under the stand. Is 10g big enough to be of any real use?. The underneath of the stand is only 10 1/2 inch wide so i actually don't even know if that will fit. May need to find a rubber maid thing to go under it. Anyway THANKS!!! For any help you can offer.

Well your plan sounds good !
I did buy a sump that was too big for under cabinet and what i did was put the tank in a corner on an angle (with enough room to fit in the back )
It looked good that way ,my opinion if your going to do a sump/Refugeum you might want a bigger one ,maybe try and look for a bigger cabinet used .
A sump/Refugeum can never be too big cause you always want a bigger one lol

Now i want a bigger sump lol
you will want to grow copepods and many other things in it so maybe rethink so you dont have to spend for an upgrade later .and dont forget lights for the Refugeum too!
Good luck

Overall the plan sounds fine. A 10 gallon sump is small, but is still of use in that it gives you a place to go with some of the equipment (heater, skimmer, etc) to get it out of the display tank. For a 55, T5 lights should work out just fine for what you are doing. BUT...the link in your post goes to a refit kit for compact flourescent, not T5.

A lot of people have reccomended these lights to me. But I'm pretty clueless when it come to types of light bulbs, lumens, color rating, etc.
Let us know what types of lights you get and how it goes.
