good beginner saltwater fishes

I noticed that fishlore does not have a list for this, only for freshwater!

so this weekend, i got my stand and 55 gallon set up. ordering most of the other equipment from drfosters. but in prep for the true reason why i'm starting this hobby, what are some good hardy fishes for a first time FOWLR salty?

my want list:
ocellaris clownfish - 4 inches x (2)
green chromis - 3.5 inches x (6)
royal gramma - 4 inches x (1)
yellow tang - 8 inches x (1)
cardinalfish - 3 inches x (1)
neon goby - 2 inches x (1)
skunk cleaner shrimp - 2 inches x (1)

total - 48 inches, would like to drop it a bit

any advice on what i should take off my list?

I personally think that list sounds fine. Get live rock, live sand, 3 or more power heads and a protein skimmer and it should easily be able to handle that load if you put them in slowely, watch your levels, and get a nice clean up crew (some red leg and blue leg crabs, maybe an emerald crab, maybe a sand sifter, margarita snails, turbo snails, cerith snails, and narcarius snails). With those fish you can also start getting into corals. The hardiest on your list is the clowns, chromis, and royal gramma. I have seen chromis get huge in large understocked tanks but it is very rare for them to get that big in captivity. If you want the fish to have more room you could knock it down to one clown. They are cool in pairs but are fine by themselves and it gives you more room. you could also reduce the chromis to 5 instead of 6, they do like to school, but 5 should be fine. Good luck!

oh and there are different kinds of cardinalfish. Spotted cardinals are schoolers too. So you could do a school of cardinals instead of chromis. Or a school of chromis.
