A great picture of my unwanted tank guest

I thought I'd share this photo of my "problem" I have been doing a lot of research on how to remedy the problem...I've decided to go with the peppermint shrimp and see how that works...I'll be adding them in the next few days....I will document what happens and post the results (if I have any)

So here is the close up of the aiptasia that has taken over my beautiful salt water tank....

Now thats a nice photo!
The peppies may not eat the larger ones, so use a syphon tube to get rid of as many as you can..
Good luck!

One person's weed is another's flower.
That's a really beautiful anenome.

I understand where you're coming from, though. They reproduce like rabbits and grow really quickly, so I'm sure they're a pain if they're hedging out the other species in the tank.

Hope your removal goes well. (I really like the peppermint shrimp, so I think they're a good addition to the tank even if you don't have a pest like this. )

Aiptasia are evil pest. One day there's three cute little ones on a rock. A few days later there's a couple hundred ! Peppermint shrimp worked for me. Good luck.
