Goby Recommendations

Hi All,

I am looking for some ideas for a really cool, yet effective sand sifting goby. I currently have 3 chromis, 2 ocellaris clowns, 1 lawnmower blenny, 1 cleaner shrimp, scarlet hermits, and astraea snails. Can anyone offer any suggestions? Thanks!

I would stay away from the Mandarin Goby. They will eat the inverts. I have also heard that they are pretty hard to keep as well. I never really got into Goby's. So this probably isn't much of a help.

They are really cool looking. But I know you put money into your inverts and probably don't want them to disappear! Take a look at the yellow watchman goby. That might be what your looking for. Maybe a Panda Goby if your up for a challenge. Panda's are harder to tend for. But are much smaller than the watchman.

Yeah for sure. Those are the only two i am familiar with. There are so many to choose from. It will be a good addition to your tank. I just never really got into them.
