i am treating a tang for ick in a bucket and i put live rock in it for her to have a place to hide. i found out that the treatment can hurt it sooo what should i do i have it soaking in fresh saltwater now.i first rinsed it in warm water to kinda wash the ich stuff off but i dont want to trash it cus its like 30$ in LR.

From what I know, about all you can do is keep it and, if anything is still alive in it, give it time to grow again.
I hope you still have live rock in your primary aquarium. If you do, this stuff should eventually become live rock again if it sits in the tank for awhile, even if it's been sterilized by the ich cure.

I'd recommend putting the rock in a tank or plastic tote, attach a power filter with activated carbon in it, put in some powerheads and direct them at the live rock to help force the saltwater through the rock, then the carbon will help remove the meds from the water. Yeah, you may have damaged some of the life forms in/on the rock but it may bounce back just fine.
