Well I wouldn't waste the money on buying live sand for such a large tank. I would get a different substrate possibly aragonite instead and maybe a little live sand. Eventually the aragonite will become live sand and you can save money. You should fill your tank with water and salt and let it mix for at least 24hrs. and make sure the temp and sg. is correct, then you may add your live rock and sand at the same time, though I would add the rock then add the sand around the rock so the rock will not shift if the sand were to move or a fish dig under the rock.

Hi paswed,
120g tank! wish I had one Anyway, for that size tank I would do the following,
1, Mix the water & salt in the tank, only fill the tank to 70%,
2, Place your heater, filter and powerhead in the tank and let it mix for 24hr
3, check your SG and adjust if required, let mix for 24 hr,
4, Check the temp, SG, and PH
Once the above is ok, you can look at placing your LR, If you are using Live sand this would go in now.
If you are using sand, I would wait until the LR had cycled before adding the sand as this well allow you to remove/clean your tank during the rock curing.
Sorry I can not help with LR & LS on the internet
