I'm sure you won't want to loose more money on fish you'll end up seeing die.

It is likely that the fungus was isolated to just the one fish. I'd still be leary. Definitely do a nice large water change. Finishing out the medication cycle may not be such a bad idea.

Thanks gozer. Ya it was a tough one.
The bottle for the pimafix says 7 days but thats for treating a sick fish - not sure what the process would be for the current situation.
I think im just going to stop with the treatments and keep it onhand just incase it comes back in the future- better to not overtreat when nothing is there to kill.
I called the LFS again and spoke to the manager and he said that since there was just one fish, i should be fine for putting in more livestock.
I'm impatient and hate staring at an empty tank so I'm going to give it a shot - I'll do a nice size water change sunday and keep a close eye on them for any signs of disease.
I going with multiple fish this time to up my chances of survival and have less stress on the fish.
I think I'm going to go with some Green Chromis - 3 of them so they will likely school. I know its risky since they are a damsel but they are supposed to be the least aggressive of the damsel family so I'm going to risk it. They seem like a good cheap starter fish that are fun to watch too. Might get a cleaner shrimp too just to be on the safe side.
