Well this is my first saltwater tank. its 34L, so its not very big at all (i think its roughly 9g?? not sure on the conversion though sorry! I bought the live rock the around 4 days ago and I have already identified several feather dusters and the worms as well, but the bad bad bad bad thing that i realised today after researching a lot is that the middle rock you can see in the picture is covered in aptasia




I called the aquarium I bought it from and the guys there suggested a product called "Aptasia Control" its an injection that kills the aptasia, but i was considering trying the old lemon juice trick, so I guess im asking if its worked for people really!?

hmmm did u buy that from an aquarium in mentone i can't help u with the aptasia

the conversion rate is 4 litres to a gallon so it would be 8 and a half

Yes lemon works, but not as good as Aiptasia Control. Can you guys get Berghia Nudibranchs down under (Australia) ?

Im pretty sure we can, i tried the lemon juice last night with a baby dropper pushed right up against the aiptasia and it has worked an absolute treat, there were about 7 on there and i have gotten rid of all of them (at least for now) so im extremely happy with it!

Is that Tonga Branch Rock? I really like the look of it. Since I'm wanting to mix my rock, in the future of course, I wonder how I can do it looking naturally?

I would have no idea what sort of rock it is, it does look like Tonga yes, the aquarium I bought it from has a massive vat of rocks, it's $16.95 a kilo (aussie dollars) and the boy i bought it from was very sweet, he gave me around $15 worth for $10
