new to saltwater

I have been into freshwater tanks for a while now, and i would like to try my hand at a saltwater tank. I think the maximum size tank i would be allowed is between 5 and 10 gallons. I have a few questions.

1. What could i keep in a tank that size?

2. Is saltwater as hard as people say?

3. Would a power filter be ok for saltwater?

4. Is the cycle basicly the same as freshwater?(ammonia then nitrite then nitrate)

5. what are some other supplies i would need?

any help here would be greatly appreciated.

1. Make it at least a ten gallon. Reasearch specifi fish YOU are interested in first to find out.

2. Since you have some experiance in aquariums already, it should not be too much more.

3. You'll need more, like a skimmer.

4.Yes.

5. http://www.fishlore.com/SaltwaterBeginners.htm

Thats a start. More detailed help should come from more experienced hobyists. I tried though.

Other than this one, I think you found what i'm looking for. Now I'll just look within the family to find one with a little bit of color, hopefully blue hues.

I just realized, however, that they are freshwater fish!

Doesn't work well in a marine aquarium. Thanks tho!

Um... ok... lets not repeat that too much Its enough I have fallen from the tree tops of economy to rock bottom, but, at least let my hobby look like a million dollars lol

(yes there are those of us that are vain. they say admitting it is the first step to recovery. since i don't want to be cured i refuse to admit it )
