What is a good schooling small fish?

hey all, i need to know a good schooling fish (roughly 5) to fill the tank. I originally thought i wanted firefish... only to learn they dont school as i first thought :l
Any ideas? OH! and please don't say chromis

ps: if there is a lot of mistakes its because i am writing from my DSi

You could try blue damsels (not yellowtail) or banggai cardinals

haha dw flotus48, i've done that before too :P

ATP - I might go for banggai cardinals after all - but i hope i can get tank bred ones :P

Yea.

make sure it's tank bred or ORA. I've purchased wild ones before (didn't know) and all of them refuse to eat, even if i turn of the lights and leave the room. They all died unfortunately. I've also read that they're almost considered endangered.

Green Reef Chromis are an excellent shoaling SW fish. Very peaceful as well, even compared to banggai cardinals.

i guess banggais would be the next best thing then.

haha - i have nothing against chromis... but they look so... average :/
I mean.. everyone has them D:

bangii or pj cardinals. I have the bangii and they are great, they fast for a day or so and really love brine shrimp

thanks kloseo, i'll bare that in mind when/if i get some. What are PJ cardinals? (thats short for pajama right?)
I will check those out. I think i've seen them before.. but i also remeber me liking banggai more purley from appearance :P

yes it is short for pajama, I too like the bangii better, but thought it was another option for you to consider

Although i have a while to wait, I still haven't got the money for a protein skimmer yet =[
But i just wanted to get my stocklist sorted out nice and early incase i need ot make a drastic change :P
