Stocking question - eel and diamond goby?

Ok I have a 45 gallon tank, its the first tank ive ever had. Everything is going fine on my tank, the only problem I have ever had with it is I had a small opening on the top of my tank that my Diamond Goby jumped out of. Needless to say he didnt make it, I really want to get another 1 but the problem is I have added fish since he died. He was the second fish I put in the tank. Right now I have 3 green chromis, a clown fish, a firefish, a baby snowflake eel (which I plan on have a bigger tank for eventualy when she gets bigger), a pigmy angel, 4 turbo snails, 5 hermit crabs, 1 chocolate chip starfish...and thats it haha. I wanted to know if it would be ok for me to get anohter diamond goby, or if that would make my tank overloaded...or if my tank is already overloaded...I have received mixed opinions from the local fish stores, so I anted more advice. Sorry for the long post, and looking forward to the comments.

The eels are really good at escaping too so if you haven't already, you'll need to fix any possible escape points. If you get another goby it'd probably wind up as a nice snack for the eel. The chocolate chip seastars have a bad rap too with eating desirable inverts.

I have fixed the escape route, but my question is is my tank over-crowded? Or can I fit a goby back in there, I have a skimmer....
