iv just bought 2 goldheaded gobies and wondering have i made a mistake.my tank only has grit as substrate and not sand. will this be fatal to their survival.any answeres or general info would be appricated,robbie6467

I'm assuming but I'm not positive that they are similar to my dragon goby's(?) If so they should be fine, they filter through the substrate and pick out their food and throw out the substrate so sand or grit is ok, and they seem to have strong skin so sand is not necessary like many scaleless fish. Overall I'd have to say your goby's will be just fine.
