Reef Tank

Ok I have no experience with salt water. I want to start a salt water tank but my only options are a 3 gallon pico or a 10 gallon. I really want to get some corals but I dont even know where to start! What tank should I use, how expencive will it be, and what should I get in it? Please help! And I can't get any bigger than a 10 gallon.

Get the 10 gallon. The smaller it is, the more maintenance it will require.

Do more research - http://www.fishlore.com/reeftanksetup.htm -

You don't really need a large tanks but 10 gallons is great. I only have 20 gallons.

Did you wait for a cycle? It should still go through a cicle even if the water is prepared.

Ok how am I going to light a reef tank on a 10 gallon? All the lighting systems I find are for 20+ gallons.
