I've got a 20 long. It's a little overcrowded at the moment, and I do frequent 20% water changes/gravel vacs to keep up, and have it well planted. The crowding was not entirely deliberate; on 3 separate occasions, friends "donated" fish after various mishaps, so some additions, (including a pleco, which I would not recommend), were favors to friends I wouldn't jam this much into a tank on purpose. Here's the set up:
Equipment -- Whisper 20 filter and a heater (that I almost never use).
Decor -- florabase substrate.
driftwood covered with willow moss (fontinalis sp.), java ferns, Anubias nana and a second, larger anubias sp. that I've forgotten the name of. (Black background to the tank to hide wires).
Fish: 5 Cherry Barbs, 2 red phantom tetras, 1 neon (all of which seem to schoal.) 1 cory, 2 kuhli loaches, 2 dwarf gouramis, 1 pleco, 2 rcs, 2 spixi snails.
I'll attach pics, but my camera is horrible at small, moving fish.
*Change of plans. for some reason I can't load pictures to the post; there are some on my profile, though, if you're interested.
