I was lucky enough to get a Tenecor 15 gallon acrylic corner tank and stand for a very good price 2nd hand. Unfortunately Tenecor hasn't responded to my requests for help or manuals on the set up.
Please help.
I am used to fresh water and glass aquariums. I would love to clean it up and set up my first salt water ecosystem. I know very little so far. I understand that this tank would work well for a small salt water setup.
My first concern is that I clean this setup properly, as it was a
saltwater setup, then fresh water, then emptied and allowed to dry out and got covered in household grime. I have read that vinegar and water works well/best; but that has primarily been for glass tanks. Is this ok for acrylic tanks and if so, what water to vinegar ratio? And is white wine vinegar the same as regular vinegar?
Once I get it cleaned up I will take on the next steps in my learning process. But if you have a good link/thread/site/book that would help me gain knowledge as to my next steps I would greatly appreciate it. I am looking for something on the lines of salt water tanks for dummies.
Just trying to make sure I am prepared for the challenge I would like to undertake.
