I am currently installing a sump onto my 29g SW. 20g long sump to be exact. I have a Coralife SS 125 that I am going to use for a Protein skimmer, and it is just my luck that the skimmer is too tall to fit into the stand. No way around this one, so I have the skimmer running HOB style, but on the front of the tank. Just my luck. One lucky thing about it is that the skimmer is just short enough to not block the main display.

Off to finish the sump.

Yeah ... Coralife SS 125 are kind of tall. How much did you miss it by ?

Missed it by around 3 inches. I just have it hanging on the front of the sump. I'll keep it this way till the tank needs moved, then I will invest in a new stand.

That's too bad. I also want to replace my stand and tank. I've been eying a rimless LeeMar tank. Maybe after I hit the state lotto.
