At this time, I only have a bunch of articial decors with 2 powerfilters and a powerhead. I'm shopping around for live rocks. For the lst 2 years I had yellow tailed blue damsels and 2 green spotted puffers which I raised from their freshwater days with the current setup. They were doing great until my heater failed and raised the temp to 95 which resulted in fatality. So I just recently set it up with the new set of forementioned fish.

i will just point out too that you are over stocked and really shouldnt have a hippo/regal tang or any tang in a 55 gallon ,The tang is probley the cause of your high nitrates as all tangs do is eat and poo all day

also do your gobys fight ..

I kinda figured but they are all juveniles and very small. I'll upgrade eventually. Gobies always stay away at the opposite side of each other.

regals grow very quick so i would start planning now and saving

also power filters can become nitrate factories , so you might want to get a skimmer asap
