Yeah Man I'm New To This Marine Life

Hey What's Up Everybody

Yeah Man I'm New To This Marine Life
I Currently Have A Red Ear Turtle In A 50 Gallon Tank
And Now I Just Started A 30 Gallon Fowlr
My Tank Is Currently Cycling And I Have One Damsel
No Live Rock Yet But I Have Sand Currently.

So Really I Said All Of That To See If Anyone
Has Any Suggestions For Me ?..

Like Which Fish Are Easy To Maintain?
Which Fish Will Fight Each Other?

You Know That Type Of Stuff

For starters, you shouldn't cycle with a fish. It's terribly stressful and you will likely lose the fish. It can take weeks to cycle with live rock, and if you add it after you've added fish, you'll cause a spike in the tank and start a mini-cycle.

I just set up my 75 for salt, will be adding rock in the next few weeks, and I likely won't add fish for 2-3 months after that. See if you can take the fish back and start over with some research. I've spent hours reading and I'm just scraping the surface and could only tell you where to begin. Salt, live sand/rock, protein skimmer, powerheads 20x flow of the tank size (so minimum 600gph for you). I hope someone with more experience will jump in, but you're off to kind of a shaky start.

The bacteria levels in the ready to use live sand is usually minimal... and its anaerobic. Which means it does not cycle your tank in 24 hours, but Damsels are very hardy so he will probably survive. What are your current readings for ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate?

The fish will be fine, damsels can take some punishment, just makes 'em tougher. The biggest priority should be the live rock, powerhead and protein skimmer. Good circulation like said above. Eventually you'll want to get some snails to manage your algae growth. Good lighting as well will accelerate live rock growth. Just wait on getting anymore fish and let your tank truly cycle.
Make sure you have at least the following test kits: ph, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, & phosphate. Eventually you might want to get the calcium, water hardness, and copper tests if you get expensive fish.

Just a heads up for down the road...when you get live rock, do NOT put it directly in a tank that already has fish in it until you are sure it is FULLY cured. Die off on curing live rock can put a very serious ammonia spike into your tank.
