I'm building a custom hood for my 45g reef tank. how many 24w 10,000 t5 should i use & acintic bulbs ?

some t5 lights ive seen on the internet has 5 10,000 k bulbs and 2 actinic bulbs

Well, I am no lighting expert, but...

For a reef setup you will need A LOT of light. I have read 4-5 watts per gallon minimum. For your size tank, I do not think you are going to be able to get there on 24 watt bulbs. What about something like this: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Produc...&N=2004+113175
