I've put up pics in the "Tank pictures" thread in my blog.

Both angels, Fire head and silver, are together in here now. They were sick with what i think was, 'hole in the head disease'. They seem to have recovered but the holes are still there and from what i read it will be always.

One of my 2 favorite angels will have to go it seems, they are fighting. I kept them because they are my favorites and since they had this disease i dont want to risk one of them in my main tank as i intend putting discus there and they can catch that disease too.

Where in SA are you, i can direct you to a petstore. Generally any fish selling pet store will have at least a ph and nitrate test kit.

ph and nitrates arent as important as ammonia and nitrites... although everythings important eventually, depending on what you keep for fish, the first two are lethal and can kill fish ...

True enough and its ammonia i lack!

What i meant by that post is at least those kits are found in any fish shop, so it should'nt be hard to find hopefully, depending where he lives.

werner- A master test kit you'd find at the bigger fish stores for about R450/500. Sing would be around R80 and R20 for the ph. As i said before if i know which city you are in i can let you know of good petshops i know off in that district. (CT, PE, JHB, DBN)

sorry i meant the ammonia and nitrites are lethal..not ph or nitrates..although in certain instances, they can harm as well...best is to have 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, 10-20 nitrates..ph can vary but fish acclimate to alot of different ph's
