about how much does a hamster eat a week?

I used to feed mine the hamster pellets and the cubes. It was supposed to contain all of their nutrients and then we'd give them fruits and veggies as snacks.

Rodents are big eaters so I would say between a cup and cup and a half a week. I would alternate between the hamster food and carrots and spinach.

All you need to do is fill the bowl with food. They will hide some for later, so check thier cache to make sure it isnt spoiled. I've seen my hamster empty his bowl and hide all his food before. Also give them fruits and veggies. carrots, lettuce, apple are good. You can give them peanuts once in a while too if you want. They love bugs so some crickets or mealworms would be great a well.

My hammy hoards his food in a corner or in his bed area. Lol funny guy, but I think he will pass away soon. His 3 years is almost up.

that depends on the hamster. When you do your weekly cleaning you'll get an idea if your feeding to much if there is alot of uneaten food hidden away. I feed only small amts of fresh foods so it doesn't spoil and remove remainder of the fresh the next day
