A friendly Turtle

Good morning. I was able to get a picture or two of my friendly visiting turtle. He is resting on my creek bank staring at the water. He visits several times a week and has been doing so for about 3 months. I guess I'll have to name him WELCOME BACK everyone!

I got a Red Eared Slider that I almost drove on top and crushed. I heard they are not allowed to be kept as pets any longer but they are not Florida natives and they empty the ponds that the turtles where using as homes so as for now she's a pet.

LOl you have GATORS!!!?? if you go to the PHX zoo you will see like 40 REd eared sliders and other turtles sun bathing on logs at the entrance. They have like 5ft koi´s as well. ITs a big bridge and you walk over a large lake/pond thing.

Nice. I wonder where it comes from, maybe a lost pet. Someone's snake got lost in my neighborhood. Hope that doesn't visit anybody. I have 2 young red eared sliders. I think the youngest is 2.

Hello Time Keeper. They roam wild here where I live and are very common. We also have a good many gators swimming by from time to time I bet your read eared sliders are beautiful!

I actually adopted the red eared sliders. They had them in a 55gallon or something like that. They were given to me in a 10 gallon tank with nothing but the tank. I take them out to the sun. It eliminates tank odor and they get what they need. I am making a thread can't help it anymore!

I would time a thread but...just kidding I first thought you ment something about timing a thread but only for a sec. Pictures will come when I have a lamp. It is being given to me. Its UV-C so that means no more daily outdoor turtle time!
