| | Fish Helper | Anyone have any experience with these snakes? I currently have a corn snake, probably around a year old. I do however want to expand my collection and get at least one, if not two more.
I'm looking to get some more information on Ball Pythons and Mexican Black King Snakes, and was wondering if there is anyone experienced with these guys who can give advice or just general information about them. Lots of websites and stuff, but there's just something to be said about getting information from somebody who has dealt directly with something
Thanks. |

| | Fish Keeper | well we feed our corns one mouse a week that way they will have time to digest it and still eat the next one. the size of u snake makes a difference too, make sure its meal is not too large for it too eat. hope this helps. |

| | Fish Helper | I have had 2 corn snakes and they were like the BEST! They are very easy to deal with. What would you like to know about them? And if you do have a picky one like that other person said you should make sure the size of the food the right size. |

Ball pythons are a pretty common one, too. I can't imagine they'd be as common as they were in petstores if they weren't relatively easy to care for. They do need a setup where they can climb, though, as the whole "ball" thing occurs when they're draped across a limb.
Both snakes can get to be from 4-5 feet long, and, while not a danger to humans (beyond bites inflicted by a snake feeling itself in danger), may be a danger to smaller pets if they escape, particularly in the case of the python. |
