| All I ever seen turtles eat are veggies. I guess turtles are much more complex than that, lol |

| Post a pic. I could tell you what it is. They'll eat Plant leaf material
Raw (whole) fish
Rehydrated dried cat, dog or trout pellets
Quality prepared food such as 'Reptomin'
Earthworms
Snails and molluscs
Another idea would be to look it up. Tortoise trust is a great website. |

| Also, make sure she has UVB light and has the proper temp. Plus, have a varied diet. Like I said, tortoise trust is a great website. |

| Freshwater to saltwater? I have a painted turtle that it probably about 14-20 years old (im not shure). I have had her for about 7-8 years and we moved to a house with a pool in the backyard. We desided o make it a saltwater pool. I was wondering if it would be ok to introduce her to the pool. The salt is not like the sea, if you taste the sea water it is realy salty and unberible but if you taste the pool water there is just a hint of salt. you can barley taste it. For people who know about salt water pools it is at 3500ppm. So would it be ok to let her swim in it? |

| Mr Cool, I wouldnt trust it if plants couldnt grow in it
Frogster, Tay (my turtle) would only eat beef heart and earthworms when she was little. she has since began eating pellet food with relish.
Even if your youngster will eat pellet food, remember to give her different things as well. |

| I would try any fruit, veggies, or meat that she can fit in her mouth. (avoid citris and bannanna though)
Also, if her beak is hard, try cuttlebone. It's usually by the birds. My turtle loves it, and its a great source of calcium. |
