I am looking to put some colorfull fish in my 10 gallon tank with my plate's . Does any one now if Red Zebra Cichlid's are OK to put in with plate's..

I wouldn't. Like most cichlids, they are very aggressive.

If this is the fish you are asking about, besides being too aggressive for a platy, he will get way too large for a 10 gallon tank. It's great that you are doing your research before buying one of these beautiful fish!
