RTS temperature?

If I put a heater in my 55g goldie tank to keep the water at 74 degrees, could I keep a RTS in there as a bottom feeder? Or would that be too warm for the goldies? Or too cold for the shark? I'm pretty sure it won't be too warm for the goldies, but I'm not sure about the shark being cold. Almost every profile I've seen about the RTS says the temp should be 72-80, so would 74 be enough?

in texas, I dont think you would need a heater for your goldies...if anything, you might need a chiller....imo , a rts and goldies require two different temps to both live together and thrive...rts need the warmer tropical temps of 76-80 ..although both can survive im sure in 74, thriving is another case...

My RTS is warmer then that, also Goldies might be too docile and slow as the rts matures...

Good morning. Personally I would not add a red tail shark to a community of goldfish. The goldfish could end up being terrorized.
