2 RTS in a 36g?

How risky would 2 RTS in a 36g be?

Possibility of other inhabitants?

Thanks

Very risky unfortunately. The only way, feasbily you can gt away with it, and this is still risky, is a very heavily planted tank with a large footprint. The two sharks may not know the other. But they are very terratorial creatures as you may well be aware, and it may get very nasty. They may seem okay living in tanks together at an LFS, however as they grow older and bigger they get nasty and not too happy.

Hate to be the bringer of bad news lol!

As for the other inhabitants, you could probably do a shoal of tiger barbs (six) and a single RTS or rainbow.

I agree. 2 RTS in that tank would spell disaster once they mature. I like Emily's stocking suggestion. Tiger barbs are excellent tank mates for a RTS. Black ruby barbs would also work quite well.

I'd say you could probably get away with seven. Sharks are nippy creatures, if they nip barbs, the barbs nip back, putting everyone back in their place!
