She eats from my hand!

I got a RTBS today. It's hard to tell, but I think it's a female because of the grayish belly color. I named her Akula, the Russian word for "Shark."

Anyway, when I was feeding my fish tonight, I started thinking. I grabbed a freeze-dried bloodworm and held it down in the tank. Akula was a bit nervous at first, but she eventually started nibbling on the worm. I just thought that was really neat. Has anybody else gotten their red-tailed black sharks to eat from their hand?

Beautiful! If you haven't already, make sure he has no escape routes like heater holes or open space in the top of your tank. Great jumpers! Good luck

They grow so fast! Mine can be a little aggressive towards my other fish, and swims away behing her rock whenever I come near the tank, but I love her!
