i know my tank is too small for both of them at the moment but in the future i am planning on upgrading, so i was wondering is a clown loach would be happy with a red tail or rainbow shark?

I know people with rts and clowns together, they seem fine.

Ask cpk he has both in the same tank.

I have a RTS in with clown loaches. He use to chase them around but now he joins in with their dancing.

Just make sure you have a minimum of 3 clown loaches cause they like being in groups and it will spread out the aggression from the RTS.

ok thanks hopefully i will get a bigger, atleast 45 gallon tank soon

was abit confuzed because i have read about red tails being agressive to fish with the same body shape and i thought the loached looked (kinda) familiar

One day you will have to give back the clown loaches or upgrade again because clown loaches reach 12 inches (30 cm) big

I don't know if it's so much the body shape or the coloring. Any fish with a red tail will be in trouble from an RTS no matter how diff it's body shape.
