If i bought a 125 gallon and only had a rainbow shark two aurulius barbs and one red tail shark would they have enough room to not fight because i know they dont like eachother

I'm not really an expert but I think that would probably be lots of room. If you really want to put a red and a rainbow togeather I'd recommend planting the tank heavily, having lots of hiding places and things on the bottom to break up lines of site. That way they should each be able to have they're own territories. However you may want to wiat till one of the fish experts comes by they may have other things to tell you, from personal experiance rather then just haveing heard.

it cant hurt to try, but ive heard for the most part that when the red tail grows old it's going to get into wars with the rainbow regardless, no matter what size the tank. of course ive heard this many times yet never witnessed it myself. Try it at your own risk and let everyone know your experience!
