My red tail is my new favorite fish. We bought him with 3 emerald green cory cats from the same tank and he acts like a bodyguard for the corys. Whenever a sinking wafer is dropped in at feeding time, he chases away our 7 tiger barbs while the corys eat. He eats alongside the corys and never chases them; he even "escorts" them back to the food whenever a tiger barb sneaks in and runs them off. He is great fun to watch, and he is always cleaning the tank. I feel very fortunate because all of our fish get along, are healthy, and seem very content.
