this may be true in thoery but most of the adult redtails i have seen have been 5-6-7" ,in my local fish store there is an 8" redtail.
can someone tell me if these are rare fish r does this happen all the time.

In theory and recorded information on the Red Tail Shark, they only grow up to 4.5 inches.
The Rainbow shark grows up to 6 inches.
There are always exceptions to the rule, and your LFS must have those.He must be doing something right!
