Hello every body , can any body tell my why my red tail Shark is always hide? And im more worry because i didnt see him eating, i don't know if he eats while i am sleeping or if he's sick. or if he is scared with the other tankmates.

my rtbs does the same, i always c it hiding. BUT when i turn off the light at night and watch it then after a minute or 2 (usually after my other fish are asleep) she goes out and nibbles on food thats nestled in the rocks. but when i have my light on it stays in its cave and swims around in it. so try turning the light off and keep an eye on it

By giving it more places to hide, you should see it out more.
If fish know they have a place to hide nearby, they are out in the open more.

Hi, my first post here, I have an rtbs, she hides all the time when everythings still, if i go up to the glass or put a finger on it she comes out of her cave and starts cleaning around and stays out for a while, i have paid a lot of attention to her since i got her so shes used to me now and will almost accept being hand fed now
