I just bought a red-tail last night to go in my 10 gallon tank. It is the only fish in there. At the pet store, most of the sharks in the tank looked to be pretty healthy, really dark and bright red tails. When I got home and put this one in my tank, it is pretty light colored and it's tail is practically transparent. Can this be attributed to normal stress and go away after getting used to it's new environment? Or should I be worried?

It would be the stress if it's been less than a week or so. Keep close tabs on the water chemistry and make sure he has a hidey-hole spot until he settles in. My bala's lost their black on their fins for several days until they buddied up with the red-eye's...
