Whats new in the 2 tanks

In my last thread I talked about the problems I was having with my 2 male rams... fighting, mostly. I separated them and everyone seems to be much happier now. Here's whats been going on in the 2 tanks:
10 gallon: 3 danios and 1 German Blue Ram. Going by the 1inch/gallon rule this tank is a little crowded but it was an emergency situation so there's not much I can do about it. I like having the danios with the Ram, I know they make it a more comfortable enviornment. My ram spends most of his day hiding, except for feeding time. He's eating well and his fins look great so I'm not worried. Yesterday I put up a dark background and I'm hoping that will reduce some of his stress and he'll start coming out more. I've got a bunch of plants and a nice piece of driftwood. I'll take some pics today.
26 gallon: 10 neons, 1 otto, 1 false siamensis, 2 (!) GRBs:
Yesterday I found a female ram at a petstore, I was so happy. I grabbed her up and now she is in my 26 gallon. The male ram doesn't seem to mind her. I'm not really expecting or even hoping they mate, I just wanted 2 rams. I'm having an issue with "disappearing" fish. I've lost 1 tetra and 2 ottos. They litterally just disappear, not even a bone left. I'm about 99.9% sure that its my false siamensis who is eating them and there's really nothing i can do about it. He is WAY to fast to ever be able to catch. He's also pretty big, I'd say 4-5 inches. I'm going to let him get away with the murders since he is such an excelent bottom feeder. He sifts through all the substrate and without him I'd have to vacuum the substrate alot more often. Since I can't seem to keep ottos, I'm thinking about getting a pleco. At one point I was given one by a friend that was at least 6". It was terrifying and the tank got disgusting really quick. It was impossible to keep up with the water changes, so I had to find a new home for him. So I'm not a big fan of plecos, but I'm even less of a fan of all the algae I have (my tank gets a good bit of direct sunlight). I'm going to see if my LFS store can order a bristlenose or a clown pleco for me, since I heard they stay pretty small.
Well, thats about all thats been going on in my tanks lately. Thanks to anyone who reads this!

I think it's great that you found a female.
GBRs are so pretty, I've considered them but my water is pretty hard.
