Which Cichlid should i breed in my 20 gallon.

I am starting over on my 20 gallon and waiting for it to cycle. i know i want to try my luck with breeding something other than livebearers and i am going to do cichlids. i just cant decide what to breed. i was thinking either german blue rams, convicts(probably not though because of size), or kribensis. any help on which i should get or any other suggestions would be great. thanks.

kribens is really easy to breed,
you dont have to care about the pH and hardness too much
so try it first

A pair of Firemouth would be pretty happy in a 20gal long.

I'd advise Kribs as a good starter for breeding Cichlids. Kribs are easy to breed and great parents, but they are also peaceful cichlids that can be kept with many smaller fish, thus making the babies a lot more easy to sell. Cons are very easy to breed as well, but aren't exactly a community fish, and you might struggle to find homes for all the fry. ( unless your LFS will take them).
