Help me sex these BRs

I've been trying to sex a pair of BRs I got a few days ago and have so far been very unsuccessful. I'm pretty sure they are the same sex but I am very uncertain if they are male or female. After having just read the stickied sexing thread I am starting to thing they are both female... but I really don't know. Please take a look at these pictures and tell me what you think! I really want to get a breeding pair.

Although not 100%, looking at tube sticking out which seems blunt, I will say females unless you can see sharper tubes than presented in pics. But the angle how tubes are protruding tells me they are both Male. My guess will be both Males looking at the tapered point on dorsal fins.
Saki? Good Wine, especially when served steam heated. Am I correct?

Yeah, judging from the vent they both look female. So that clears that one up, and also explains why they seem to be pretty happy swimming together! So should I only add one male to the tank or should I go with two? I was originally aiming for only one pair but I'm not sure what to do with the 2nd female if I stick to that route.

I have a male bolivian ram, and males usually have red on their tails that looks like a lyre tail. IMO I think you have both females.

Personally I would add only one male. They seem to do much better in a harem.

I would concur, they both definately look like females to me. If you are planning to add a male, I also would add only one. You will need to watch the behavior closely upon introducing the male. I my experience, I have had some males who like 2 females, and others that will pair with only 1 of the females. In the latter, the 2nd female should be removed as the pair will relentlessly bully the non-paired female.

I agree I have had a 1 male/1female ratio and had the male absolutely torment the one female. add a female and everything is cool. On the other hand have had 1male/2 female ratio and had the unpaired female bullied. so I guess what we're trying to say is what ever you do watch them closely for a few days so nobody gets hurt
