Aggressive male GBR

Need advice on what to do. I was able to pick up a pair of GBR's a little over 4 weeks ago. Within 4 days they had laid a clutch of eggs. 2 days later they ate the eggs, which I understand is normal since it was their first attempt. I have done quite a bit of research on the breeding patterns of the GBR and understand that it may take a few attempts. Well here is my problem, over the last 2 days the male is chasing the female relentlessly. He is showing himself fully open with all fins while the female is opposite and keeping all of the fins closed and secluding to the corners. They still hang next to each other when he is not chasing her. I don't want him to stess her to the point that she gets sick of even worse. What should I do? Currently I have in the tank:
29 gallon tank
3-3" clown loaches
3-0.5" dalmation molly fry
2-1.5" neon tetras
1-1.5" octocinclus
plenty of hiding spaces with rocks, drift wood and 9 live plants. I realize the space is not enough for the clown loaches when they get larger, but I will be upgrading to a 145g in the next 4-6 months. My pH is currently 7.25 ammonia and nitrites are 0. Any advice? Should I seclude the male for a few hours, a day?? I am stopping by my LFS tomorrow to see if they possibly have another female GBR to help the lone female that I have. Would this help? What if they don't have any females? Any advice would help, thanks.

i'd try secluding him for a little while, if you have a quarantine tank you can put him in then that would be great to give the female a break and let her establish herself a little more in the tank. is he actually nipping her at all or just flaring?
