bolivian, german blue ram which 1

ok so i have a choice...
i could get 4 bolivians for my 29 or 4 GBR...
azgarden the website i would be ordering from is in arizona selling both species...
ive always heard bolivians are hardyer but i have always like german blue rams better... maneyly because of coloration and more sifficient information
which to go with

they sell them unsexed which is my only concern because i realy wanted a garentee of 1 male to 3 females.

but if odds are in favor i will get 2 and 2..

the stoking plan for this tank is hevialy planted with 4 gbr or bolivians, 6 neon tetra, 3-4 otto catfish, red cherry shrimp.

i wait happily for a repply even a simple g or b.

Honestly, German Blues look a heck of a lot better in my opinion. I would go with them just because they would make a great centerpiece type fish in that tank. But i did read that Germans are very hard to take care of, make sure your water is in excellent condition and that you acclimate them properly if you do get them.

I have had a GBR and really he could withstand anything my platties can. The key is you have to have soft water. pH like 6.5-6.3. If you don't have that, get the bolivians

my water is extremely good...
i run a RO sytem because of high ph and hardness in my area and keep up to pace on water changes every week.

i had tried the gbr bout 2 months ago, got 4 and they all died within 5 days.

my ph is 8.0 and my gbr are spawning all the time

Acclimate very slow and do more frequent water changes. 2x a week and 10% is preferred over 1x with 25% water changed
