went to one of the bigger/better LFS in my area yesterday and the had 3 tanks full of blue rams. i stared and stared, and not one was a female. this is also the place that sold me my first blue rams, and I got 2 males

maybe the breeder keeps all the females for himself, or sells those at a premium.

Haha I have noticed that also at my lfs
I wanted to try breed them but no lfs I went to had them
Maybe there is a world wide shortage and the only females there are are the breeding ones? lol

Females of most species(not true of Rams) are less colorful so most LFS don't sell females only Males. If whoever orders Rams doesn't know anything about them This could be the case.
what did they say was their reason for not having females?
