Tonight I managed to get another of my male Blue Rams paired. I first introduced him with another female to the tank several weeks back and he rejected her. I rescued that female from him and put her into my Angel tank which also housed a jumbo male Blue Ram (who we were searching for a suitable mate). Those two paired and spawned three days later, and are currently tending 40-50 fry from their 3rd spawn. Well tonight I decided to try adding a new female to see if it would take. It was love at first site. I am really enjoying these wonderful little dwarf cichlids.

I love the little guys and once I get my tank up and running in the next year or so, they and angelfish are definatley "MUSTS"

Well, this morning I had to relocate our new female. She was being chased all over the tank and only found peace if she went inside a coconut shell cave. I'm going to let her recover a bit in our Angel tank, where she seems very content. I may try moving the male out of his tank, moving the decos around and then re-introducing him after the female is established in there. This little guy is fussy.
